Nanfang’ao Observation Deck
If you want a bird’s-eye view of Nanfang’ao Fishing Harbor, the Nanfang’ao Observation Deck is the perfect choice. Located on the Suhua Highway, it’s about a 10-minute drive from the harbor and was once a secret spot for photographers capturing the night view of Nanfang’ao.
From the Nanfang’ao Observation Deck, you can get a panoramic view of most of Nanfang’ao’s attractions, such as the fishing harbor, Tofu Cape, and Neipi Beach. The scenery is vastly different during the day and at night. If you want to enjoy the night view of Nanfang’ao, the observation deck is the place to be!
Since its opening, the largest animal ecology park in Yilan, “BAMBI LAND,” has never ceased to amaze with its imaginative execution team. From route planning, surrounding merchandise, meals to the overall park planning, everything is meticulously crafted, hoping to bring visitors a multi-layered experience. This spring, “BAMBI LAND” has teamed up with the interactive team “Shadow Monsters” to create the park’s first light and shadow interactive installation. The adorable deer “BAM BAM” and “LABU” are set to bring you a series of surprises.

So cute it’s criminal! This year, the new Bitan Scenic Area has launched a brand new landscape art installation, in collaboration with Sanrio. Popular characters like Hello Kitty, Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Gudetama are all making an appearance in the new theme “SANRIO Colorful Bitan”, which will be on display for 59 days free of charge.
