If you have read “Kamogawa Horumo” or watched the movie “Kamogawa Horumo” from the “Makime Manabu”, you should be quite familiar with this Yoshida Shrine. After all, it is also an important scene in the novel. However, personally, when I visited Yoshida Shrine for pilgrimage, I always felt that this Yoshida Shrine is a bit peculiar.
If you want to go to Yoshida Shrine, you can take the bus to “Kyodai Nogakubu-mae”, or you can take the bus to “Hyakumanben”. I took the bus to “Hyakumanben” and then walked along Higashioji Street to reach Yoshida Shrine. The entrance to the shrine is on this side of Higashioji Street.
Since it is on the campus, and it is also the time for new students to register in the spring, all the clubs have their so-called welcoming events and recruit new members. These posters are used to attract these youthful bodies.
It seems that “京大 鳥人間” should be a flight research society or a club for playing light aircraft.

Reached the first torii gate of Yoshida Shrine.
This is the second torii gate, in the movie “Kamogawa Horumo”, it is the place where the girls wait.
There is a hand-washing station nearby.

Jingu Shrine, this is the subsidiary shrine of Yoshida Shrine. Here, the deity enshrined is “Mokkou Daimyojin”…. (I wonder if there is a “Watermelon Daimyojin”…. XD)
Walking up along the approach, there are few trees planted beside the steps of the approach.

Since the place I came from was the main palace on the staircase, but there is a larger Yuan Palace further back, I decided to go and take a look at the Yuan Palace first.

This is Da Yuan Temple.
In front of the temple, there is a weeping cherry tree called “Yuzhai Sakura”. The correct name should be “Ichijikan Shidarezakura”.
The deity worshipped in this Da Yuan Temple is called “Tian Shen Di Qi Ba Bai Wan Shen” (transliteration), which has quite a long name.
Return to the palace.
This is a dance hall.
It is said that Mount Yoshida, where Yoshida Shrine is located, is in the northeast of Kyoto, which is known as the “Gate of the Ghosts.” So, um… I didn’t say anything…
