During the cherry blossom season in Kyoto, besides visiting famous cherry blossom spots, I personally enjoy taking walks on the lesser-known streets of Kyoto. One of my favorite spots is the area near the Takase River, which runs parallel to the Kamo-gawa.
I chose to stay at the hotel near the intersection of Kawaramachi-dori and Gojo-dori this time.
Gijin VS Benkei, They met at the Gojo Bridge, and there are statues nearby that explain this story… However, why are they naked?
Next to the Takase River, there is a beautiful little street called Kiyamachi-dori, lined with cherry blossoms…
Riding a bike under the cherry blossom trees is very comfortable.

This road is the one that is open… Thanks to Stancey and Mike for letting me know. I had previously posted the wrong picture…
Mitsugiro Hyoe and Kitahachi
The Kamo-gawa turns into a cool bed in the summer.
Kosan Yanagihachiro kneels before the Imperial Palace statue.
Shirakawa, Tatsumi Bridge
Back to Sijiao, in the middle of the main road, I wanted to take this kind of photo~ Unfortunately, one person didn’t cooperate and went the wrong way…
After passing by Nan Zuo, it scared me to death. There was a bunch of middle-aged ladies queuing up. I thought queuing was a privilege for young people… XD
So it turns out that Bando Tamotsu and Nakamura Shido are performing here… but who is Bando Gyokusaburo?
Returning to the side of the Kamogawa River, continue walking along the small path next to the river towards Gojo. In fact, there are quite a few cherry blossoms along the Kamogawa River, with different varieties.
No more~ Just went around like this…. According to Google Maps, this route is a total of 4 kilometers and should take 48 minutes to walk. However, it took me 110 minutes… Here is the route I took~
