The Wanghaixiang Cross-Sea Scenic Bridge, completed and opened in 2021, is the latest sea-viewing spot in the northeastern corner of Keelung and a new must-visit location for 2021! Standing on the bridge, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the stunning mountain and sea scenery, truly living up to the name “Wanghaixiang” (Sea Viewing Alley). Since Wanghaixiang is also near the Badouzi Station on the Taiwan Railways Shen’ao Line, and close to attractions like the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology and Chaojing Park, it’s perfect to include in a one-day tour of the northeast coast!

Strolling on Wanghaixiang Cross-Sea Scenic Bridge
The Wanghaixiang Cross-Sea Scenic Bridge is about 170 meters long, connecting the Keelung and New Taipei bike paths and linking nearby attractions such as Chaojing Park, the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology, Badouzi Station, and the Shen’ao Rail Bike. It’s also very convenient for visiting other northeast coast tourist spots like Ruifang, Jiufen, and Jinguashi along the way.
The design of the Wanghaixiang Cross-Sea Scenic Bridge is simple and straightforward. As it is primarily a bike path, it is designed to be accessible, making it very flat and easy to walk on. It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll with family, friends, or a romantic partner.
With the natural scenery of the sea and sky merging into one, it’s also an excellent spot for portrait photography.
