Hiryugama boasts the world’s largest step kiln, stretching approximately 23 meters and capable of firing 120,000 rice bowls at once.
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I could only visit and not participate in any hands-on activities.
I couldn’t make a “Little Stingy Boy” bowl or cup myself…
I hope to come back and experience it someday~

The entire kiln site is quite large.

The steps on the side lead to different levels of the kiln.

Inside, only exhibits remain.

You can see the marks of bricks on the walls.

Next to Hiryugama, there’s a small workshop.

In the workshop,

The finished products are quite pricey.

Besides the usual bowls, plates, and cups,
there are also these little figurines…
quite interesting~
