The incredibly hard-to-book spicy hot pot restaurant【Zhongshan District, Taipei】Xin Dian Hotpot – Songjiang Branch

In early November, due to a friend’s birthday, I came across numerous foodie groups highly recommending Xindian on the internet. Thinking that a birthday celebration for my friend should be nothing short of spectacular, I immediately made a reservation. As many online reviews had warned, it was indeed challenging to get through on the phone! Just when I was about to give up after numerous attempts, the call finally went through. Phew! Luckily, I managed to secure a reservation, or else it would have been me letting the side down. And so, our party arrived at Xindian in full force to celebrate the birthday~ (I later found out that Xindian also accepts online reservations, so no more endless phone calls~ Xindian online reservation-)

Highly recommended online! All-you-can-eat hot pot with à la carte quality?! In Zhongshan District, Taipei City – Wild Szechuan Spicy God Hot Pot.

One day in October, I stumbled upon a video about the Spicy God on Facebook. The sight of a roast duck being set ablaze after being doused in alcohol was truly shocking to me. So, at the end of the month, I decided to go check it out for myself!

We arrived around 9:30, and it wasn’t too difficult to find a parking spot nearby (you can also choose to take the metro). The restaurant is located on the second floor, accessible via an escalator. Upon entry, a staff member will guide you to your seat and explain the ordering process. That day, six of us dined together, sharing a not-so-large yin-yang hotpot. The soup base was a fixed combination of spicy mala and bonito.

Where are you? I’m here!!! Hahaha~ That’s right, I’m at “Here Bistro”, waiting for you. I recently discovered a newly opened Italian bistro, “Here Bistro”, located on Zhongcheng Road Section 2, in the Tianmu Shilin area. “TaroYuan ‘Southern’ Unveils Three ‘Hidden Menu’ Drinks for Nationwide Release in Glorious October”

Originating from Yunlin, the composite hand-shaken beverage “TaroYuan” has made a name for itself. Its main products are the widely loved “taro, mashed taro, and taro balls”. However, there are also many unique drinks based on tea that are equally sought after. Among them, the Honey Love Mesona Jelly Drink, Duo Duo Green Tea, and Ultra-Rich Milk Tea, which are not listed on the official menu and are hailed as “classic hidden versions”, have received widespread acclaim and fame when launched at limited stores. The Duo Duo Green Tea was a hot seller in the central region, selling over ten thousand cups! This left many fans who couldn’t get a taste wringing their hands and clamoring for more. Therefore, in this glorious October, as the pandemic eases and life gradually returns to normal, TaroYuan has decided to expand the sales of these three classic hidden drinks. They made a strong comeback on October 1st, and their nostalgic taste that gets better with time will definitely make people want to come back for more. At the same time, the stores in the Taipei area have taken the lead in stocking up on the 6 most popular winter hot items, preparing in advance for the upcoming winter!

Recommended Cafe in Xinzhuang: Visit “i3.coffee” and let the coffee roaster overturn your taste buds. Who says coffee can only be bitter and astringent?

During this period of epidemic prevention when we can’t travel, staying at home requires a cup of gourmet coffee to provide me with abundant energy and spirit.
The “i3.coffee” located along the XinZhuang Park is essentially a community café. Nestled within a tranquil neighborhood, this tiny shop with its corner triangular window is easy to miss if you’re not paying attention.
“i3.coffee” is quite a unique and distinctive name for a shop. After inquiring, I found out that “i3.coffee” can be pieced together to form a common surname, which also happens to be the owner’s surname.
Back then, the lady boss even asked me to guess what “i3.coffee” meant. I was never good at riddles, and this had me breaking out in a cold sweat.
