[Kyoto] Kamogawa River Noryo Yuka – Amore Kiyamachi

This Amore Kiyamachi is located next to the famous Kamogawa River. During the summer, like other restaurants, they set up elevated platforms to create a cool spot by the river. This was my first time experiencing the Kamogawa River Noryo Yuka, and it’s a bit different from the Kibune Kawadoko Nagashi Somen experience. Both are unique summer scenes. If you have the opportunity, I recommend giving it a try. Although Kyoto is hot in the summer, it’s quite cool in the evening with the natural breeze.

[Kyoto Ramen] The Kairikiya Ramen with Back Fat Soy Sauce

I have a feeling of walking into a “men’s school” when I enter kairikiya Ramen. I wonder if I have to pass the “oil bath” test before eating a bowl of ramen?! kairikiya Ramen originated from Kyoto and there are actually many different flavors of ramen in Kyoto. kairikiya belongs to the fatty soy sauce-based ramen, which is different from the commonly seen soy sauce ramen. If you haven’t tried it before, you can give it a try.
